AI Assistant

Talk to your devices. The SensoCAN AI Assistant transforms how you interact with your IoT infrastructure—using natural language to get real-time insights, monitor alerts, and manage your fleet from anywhere.

Why AI-Powered IoT?

Traditional dashboards require you to navigate menus, click through pages, and interpret charts. The SensoCAN AI Assistant lets you simply ask what you need to know:

  • "Which devices are offline right now?"
  • "Show me temperature readings from the last 24 hours"
  • "Export sensor data for Building A"

No training required. No complex queries. Just conversation.

Example Queries

For Users

What You AskWhat You Get
"Show my devices"List of devices you have access to with status
"Temperature readings"Current temperature from all temp sensors
"Alerts this week"Summary of notifications sent to you
"Export data for Sensor-01"Download link for sensor history

For Managers

What You AskWhat You Get

"Device trends last 30 days"Historical analysis of device performance

"Devices offline more than 24h"List of devices needing attention

Best Practices

  1. Be Specific: "Temperature in Building A" works better than "show readings"
  2. Use Time Ranges: "Last 24 hours" or "This week" focuses results
  3. Ask for Summaries: "Give me an overview" provides comprehensive information
  4. Reference Device Names: Use the exact names from your system for best results

Data Privacy & Security

Your data is protected:

  • Tenant Isolation: The AI only accesses data within your organization
  • No Credential Exposure: Tokens, passwords, and sensitive IDs are never revealed
  • Read-Only Access: The assistant cannot modify devices, settings, or configurations
  • Audit Trail: All AI interactions are logged for compliance

Credits & Usage

AI queries consume credits from your tenant's AI balance. Each query deducts credits based on complexity:

Query TypeCredit Cost
Simple status checkLow
Historical data analysisMedium
Complex export or summaryHigher

View remaining credits in Settings > Tenant > AI Usage.

Tip: Contact your administrator if you need additional AI credits.

Troubleshooting

"Insufficient credits"

Your AI credit balance is depleted. Contact your tenant administrator to purchase additional credits.

No results returned

The query may not match any available data:

  • Verify the device or sensor name exists
  • Check your access permissions
  • Try using different search terms

Slow responses

Complex queries involving historical data may take longer:

  • Limit time ranges for faster results
  • Ask for specific data rather than broad overviews
  • Peak usage times may affect response speed
